Another possibility is the parents change room in a mall/store/restaurant.  
Not all have the light switch in the room, but some do.  The changing 
table folds down... it doesn't need to know you're changing film and not 
diapers!  Light around the door may be an issue... some tape may be the 
answer for that one.

As for the dog idea, which end do you use???
