BTW, I think in the field of SPG records we should distinguish realizations
with or without apparent promotee.
For example, taking the famous 100-dollars thema in helpmate (double
Excelsior with promotion to Knight in a single-line h#5), there exist some settings
with promoted force; but no helpmate composer would consider them as "the
real thing", only interesting experimental works.
SPG is a younger genre than helpmate, so maybe this is a reason to be more
permissive; SPGs with promoted force are quite common and few people object to
them (some people do nevertheless). But in record field, there should be a
place for "single box" presentations...
(in the invisible castling case, this debate has now no meaning with
Andrew's ingenious realization).
