[W126 Coupe] Cooling fan clutch

Hi all,

My cooling fan clutch is frozen on the car (permantly engaged).

What effect will this have on the car?   I know if the clutch didn't
engage the motor would overheat.  But I wonder if this has an
effect about fuel economy.
