[W126 Coupe] Are W126 models fitted with a Pollen Filter ?

                Shin, I have a 124 ('94 E500).  Where is the pollen filter ??

I believe the pollen filters started in '94. My W124 is equipped with it. I found that it was rare and replacement part scarce. So I vacuumed  and washed it and reused it after 15 years of not knowing it was there.

No pollen filter that I've ever seen!

Does anyone know if these cars (mine is a 560 SEC) were fitted with a pollen filter ??   I swear I have read this somewhere in the past but can’t find anything when I search on-line.
 
If they are, I’m guessing that after 20 years it will be blocked up, and with the pollen levels in the UK at the moment I would want to replace mine and then live in my car for a few days !!
 
Any help appreciated…
