[W126 Coupe] mud flaps

With my cars wiring I think I need 20 Pints of Vodka. I was cleaning the
rear seats this past weekend and as I remove the back seats the wiring under
them is melted.

Oh, for wiring, start with a pint of Killian's then no matter what turns up
it doesn't much matter.

Ok that answered that. I should be working on getting my wiring right first
anyway. Thanks Kelly

Kelly, bad idea. They only serve to accumulate salt, mud, etc and start
a rot process right where you plant them. Aesthetically not a fit for
any MB in my opinion.

Wherever you place a screw in fenders, body panels, etc...as in the
chrome fender strips many apply, you will inevitably have rust. So, no
to both.

By the way, there are rubber inserts that protect the rear fender wells
where the bumper joins the body to prevent debris entering the rear
fender vent area and rail support for rear bumpers. These are simply
pressed in place on a grooved channel. No screws, all rubber. So you
already have a sort of rear rubber mud protective cover in place on your
MB.

Dick
