Dear Uncle Dick,
Today the Amateur Photographer compares 4 £330-£400 digital cameras in the 4
megapixel class and only one (Olympus) gives sharp pictures and its exposure
metering isn't without problems. After 6 months you could probably sell
them at a 35% loss when the next new model comes out. Better not to buy
one.

So am I but I get my 35mm 6x9 sharp (usually) prints back from the printer
with the negs copied onto a CDRom against the day I buy an inkjet printer.
Keeping my options open to this extent is quite cheap. So far I haven't
found a rollfilm printer offering the service.

After all these years you finally explain.... I thought they were our
grandparents in profile, just closing the deal.
