Set the lense to "X", that is the setting for
electronic flash.

The "M" setting is for flash bulbsm which has a slight
delay so that the light from the bulbs peaked before
the shutter opened.

With electronic flash, the light is here and gone
before the shutter opens on the "M" setting.
