[LargeFormat] Expanding and Contracting Ilford FP4+

HI,

I am wanting to use FP4+ in my black and white work. 
I wonder about how easily
or how well it expands and contracts with changes in
the developing time/dilution.  I have seen HP5+
discussed lots of times, but not FP4+.

If you have had experience with this, please let me
know your results, good, bad or ugly.

I plan on shooting it in 4x5 and 8x10 formats and am
wanting to standardize on one film.
