The f32 UK Fall workshop was a great success. Thanks as always to Robert
Lawrence and this time also to Paul Owen for their assistance running
workshop. Having three f32 people in the field on hand for help and advice
was very useful.
Thanks also to Robert White for providing demonstration Ebony RW45 and Toyo
AX cameras which were used and admired - and to Cooke Optics for providing
us with one of their excellent new PS945 Soft Focus Portrait lenses which
was demonstrated at the castle on Sunday and the subject of much after
dinner conversation on the Saturday. As David Morton suggested, "the only
lens to come with its own humidor!" the wooden case for the lens is rather
wonderful.
The weather was perfect with an amazing low mist over the River Wye first
thing on Saturday morning. Autumnal colours are now very evident in the
range of different tree species in and around Tintern, so the people who
stayed after the workshop to hone their skills will have some great photo
opportunities.
Looking forward to seeing some of the photos from the workshop appearing in
the Galleries section of the f32 Discussion Forum at
http://www.f32.net/discus .
It was great to put some faces to names and thanks to everyone who
participated in making it such an enjoyable weekend.
Cheers, Clive
