A quick note to thank everyone who posted Pyro tips - am looking
forward to seeing detail in the shadows and zone 9 highlights? Seems
too good to be true!
Joseph and Richard, the gloves I bought will have to be replaced - as
it seems that nitrile gloves are the way forwards. The chemicals are
in powder form so when the current rain and storms clear away then
it'll be a garden exercise for making up the chemicals in the fresh
air.
As for Pete's and Lee's photos - thought there was a kind of magic
there! Thanks for the heads up on the processing for those wonderful
images. The colours in the mountain storm scan are delightful.
Infrared - there are a couple of boxes of HSI 45 in the freezer and
the rest is MACO as you guessed.
Kenneth, I would dearly like to use the Jobo for development but it
seems that tray developing is the way forwards. Currently I can only
process 4x5 in the Jobo - 5x7 and 8x10 is processed in trays.
Mike, look forward to hearing how your Konica IR750 120 in Pyro turns out.
Gary, good to hear from you. Thought you had taken your kit out into
the wilderness areas of Utah and got lost ;-) Am keeping busy here
and disappointed that Utah will not be on the list of places to visit
this year...... Do you have any of your MACO IR pyro developed photos
on the web?
Thanks again and any more tips welcomed.
Cheers,
Clive
