I agree. One lens that's already been mentioned on the
f32 forum is a new version of the Series XV triple convertible,
which I would love to see. Most of the mainstay professional
lenses being made by the big 3 manufacturers are 20 year old
lens designs. Schneider's new aspheric Super Symmar lenses
are an exception. If Cooke can use modern technology to
make smaller, lighter and less expensive large format lenses,
they could capture a worthwhile portion of the market.
Hopefully they will not assume a Rolls Royce position.
