[LargeFormat] Cooke Lenses - Suggestions for Future Models?

         I agree.  While the lens looks superb, up here in Canada, $3450 
US, with exchange, and our 15% sales taxes,  will equal roughly  $6,300 
Cdn, give or take a few dollars.   This price does not include shipping or 
brokerage/import fees either.    Some of my Austrailian friends say the 
exchange and shipping is even worse for them.   Anyhow, for that kind of 
money, like you said, groceries for the family for a couple year, a new 
used car for the wife, etc, etc.
         What I would love to see is small, light, portable lenses, 
something for backpacking.  Even  - for sake of arguement - if they end up 
with a 3 or 4 element lens, around the  F8 range.  For example, I finally 
after three tries found a good 90mm Angulon (Lindhoff version), love that 
lens, but it  took a bit of shopping around to find it.   it would be nice 
to get something at a reasonable cost, small, that you could count on right 
away instead of playing "Ebay roulette."  :)
