No it's not difficult at all.

You'd need to find a packard that A. allows the full aperture of the lens
and doesn't vignette.
and

B. Still fits your 6" lens board.


 Then drill the four holes in the corners to mount the lens to the board.
This can be either a clearance hole with a screw and nut (I'm guessing 6-32)
or the board can be tapped.

If the shutter is small enough, you then drill a hole to allow for the
pneumatic shutter tube to get to the packard.  There is an aluminum thingy
that is sort of like a tube union that is locked onto  the lensboard and
tubes connects to the shutter and the bulb outside.

For tight spaces I've seen people slightly flare some copper tube and
solder/epoxy that to the shutter and pass the straight end thought the
lensoboard. Putty around the tube keeps the dark in.
