Hi Tori,
I use gels behind the lens. I use them like that because I have several
different lens diameters with the different lenses that I use. I have a
roll of the paper that has a glue or waxy substance that I peel off the
paper and attach it to the non-glass part of the lens and then install the
lens. Sometimes I take the back off the camera and go in there. Seems to
work just fine. I have several yellow and orange and red filters.
