Some 7.7s just unscrew all the way. Others are burnished. This you can not
do. But the screw ones just twist the rear cell of each element off. Wash with
soap and water rinse dry reassemble.

I can take off the front and rear lens pairs. Is this all I need to clean or
do they have to be taken apart? Sounds a bit too much for me if so. Is
this specialist work? Philip
