[LargeFormat] Carbon Fibre tripods... (was something else)...

Hello.  I have not submitted my list of equipment yet to you all.   Get it?  
You all.  I am from the south.  Anyway, carbon fibre seems to be the fishing 
rod of choice, here in Florida.
Carbon fibre seems to be the plastic of choice for new weapons, and for the 
bullet proof vests of our sons in the war.     My old 50's tripod for my 4x5 
is heavy as hell.  When I can afford a new heavy duty, rust-proof tripod, i 
may look into this new plastic  compound.
