Heh, heck some people get a kick out of making Internegs :P
You are right, a scan and digital print or a Cibachrome will give you
the greatest results. Internegs are not all that sharp anyway.

Why would you? I have yet to see a print from an interneg that looked
as
good as a print from the slide! I assume we're talking about 4x5? A
good
cibachrome printer (Ilfochrome actually) will do one heck of a job with
a
4x5 tranny. Even one of your better commercial printers would do a nice
job
with a high res scan and lightjet (or what ever they're called) true
photographic rather than inkjet print. If you want to work from 35mm,
London Drugs or equivalent will do a fairly decent 8x12 or larger from a
slide.
In my opinion, the day of the interneg has come and gone...

I have a slide I want to make an enlargement of - how hard is it to make
an interneg?
What do you need?
